I was a certified teacher for 21 years, school counselor for six years and am currently a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in working with children in Kindergarten through 5th Grade. I enjoy working with people of all ages as they focus on overcoming obstacles and challenges throughout life.

 

I specialize in addressing issues such as behavioral challenges, sports performance

and mindset. In my work with children, I am a firm believer in the importance of collaborating with parents, families and in some cases educational staff as we come together to socially and emotionally support our children.

I have worked with people of all ages for 38 years as a swim instructor and coach, elementary school teacher, school counselor and mindset coach. I coached swimming for 14 years, coaching children and adolescents ages 5 to 18. I taught elementary education to children in grades 3, 4 and 5 for 21 years. And had the privilege of serving as a school counselor for six years in both the elementary and middle school levels.
